As an ensemble consisting of musicians of color, The Deep Tones wholeheartedly believe and support the
Black Lives Matter movement.

To help show our support and solidarity, the Deep Tones have begun working on multiple projects that we hope will help keep the discussion of BLM alive amongst all audiences.

WHO WE ARE
We believe that classical music belongs to everyone! Our purpose is to foster a cultural consciousness in classical music and deliver a more inclusive and diverse presence on the classical concert stage.
We acknowledge that people of color are underrepresented in classical music and are working towards creating a more optimal place for minorities in classical music. Through representation in performances and music education, we strive to ensure that classical music continues to be a visible and viable art form for everyone to enjoy.
